I was browsing through a consignment shop the other day and found an interesting chair made out of whiskey barrels. I had never seen anything like it, so I was extremely excited to uncover this gem. Apparently, this type of furniture was very popular back in the seventies.

Architectural Oldie But Goodie
17 OctFrank Lloyd Wright is one of my favorite architects. I have visited the Dana Thomas House in Springfield, Illinois and was amazed. I love the open floor plans and integration of nature and light. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to visit Fallingwater in Mill Run, Pennsylvania (pictured below). I am sure that it is absolutely incredible. I would encourage everyone to see at least one of Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs or learn more about this amazing architect.
